The third time is a charm.

Matt Gannon is back and after Salal again. More by accident than design, Gannon has thwarted two of the terrorist's major assaults on the United States. Now Gannon and his boss, Rufus Brandt, take the offensive and the fight to Salal.

Pursuing Salal to his stronghold in the Middle East, Gannon throws caution to the wind, disobeys Brandt's orders and orchestrates a hastily planned, eight-man clandestine operation to a wild, inaccessible region of the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan. But the mission is compromised at the start. The tables are turned and suddenly Gannon finds himself wounded, alone, and isolated in hostile territory. There appears to be no way out with Salal, Machmued and their al Qu'ida allies hot on the CIA agent's heels.

It's the final clash between two men, each determined to destroy the other at any cost. This time, one of them must certainly die.

Salal is back -- his methods more dangerous and his hatred even deeper!

Salal, a high ranking terrorist operative, and Matt Gannon, a determined American warrior, clash for a second time in a battle of revenge and fate. Cry Judas continues the saga of The Jericho Gambit in a battle of cultures and values from which only one way of life can emerge as the victor.

This time his target has an added focus. This time he is driven by revenge as well as loathing of the Americans. Here is retaliation that can only be ended by the disgrace and death of his enemies - Malcolm DeFore, the National Security Advisor to the President, General Rufus Brandt, the newly appointed Director of the CIA, and Salal's personal nemesis, Matt Gannon, the American Army officer turned CIA agent.

Spurred by the failure of Operation Jericho and driven by ego and a consuming determination, Salal now leads a compulsive vendetta that turns into an irreconcilable blood feud for personal and family honor. He is determined to extract revenge on those who have thwarted his efforts to strike a crippling blow to the Great Satan, the United States of America. For every one of his destroyed 200 man fedayeen Jericho force, he vows the death of an American general officer as well as the extinction of their immediate successors. He unleashes a silent, unsuspected killer and holds the power of life and death in a battle that can have only one ending - death to the Americans.

The obsession is real, the stakes high, and the action intense as Matt Gannon and Salal violently collide for a second time.

The Jericho Gambit

The Jericho Gambit is a fast moving, suspenseful story of military and political response to an impending terrorist attack on the United States. Just as determined as Salal and his lieutenant, Machmued, are to destroy a critical installation in the United States, General Brandt and Matt Gannon are resolved to protect it. The Jericho Gambit is a watershed of different standards, of vastly different lifestyles, of religious intolerance and political realities, and of cultural and moral value in an irreconcilable encounter.

A shadow group of Islamic fundamentalists, grounded in a xenophobic hatred of the United States, rule the Islamic Conference Organization, the ICO. Salal, a resourceful, radical Arab agent, convinces the ICO that an attack on the United States' homeland will send the necessary political and military signals to the American people. The ultimatum is clear -- abandon the Israeli State, get out of the Middle East, or face the consequences of Jihad on American soil.

"Operation Jericho" is a surgical strike conducted by an untraceable force of multinational Arab terrorists against a vital US target, the largest ammunition and special munitions terminal in the free world. But the Americans haven't been asleep. Just as determined as Salal and his lieutenant, Machmued, are to destroy the United States, General Rufus Brandt and Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Gannon are resolved to protect it. The Jericho Gambit is a watershed of different standards, of vastly different life styles, of religious intolerance and political realities, and of cultural and moral value in an irreconcilable encounter.
